The Integral Ecology Department of the Spanish Bishops’ Conference (CEE) is organising the third meeting of Diocesan Integral Ecology Officers entitled “Building our Pastoral Identity”. The meeting will take place in Madrid on Saturday, 27 June. The day will begin at 9.30 am with speeches by Monsignor Vicente Martín Muñoz and Father Eduardo Agosta, respectively head and director of the CEE’s Integral Ecology Department. The diocesan officers from Córdoba and Madrid, Antonio Garrido and Carlos Jesús Delgado, will then take the floor. The meeting will continue with a round-table discussion on the challenges posed by artificial intelligence (AI) to the pastoral care of integral ecology, particularly in the light of the message of the encyclical Magnifica Humanitas. The morning will conclude with the presentation of the draft national framework document for the pastoral care of integral ecology, followed by group discussions aimed at gathering suggestions and possible additions to the text. In the afternoon, the results will be shared, and the day will continue with an in-depth analysis of the liturgical resource “Missa pro custodia creationis”. The meeting will end with a Eucharistic celebration presided over by Monsignor Vicente Martín Muñoz.
