“Full support to all efforts to promote peace, cooperation and mutual understanding among peoples”: this was said by the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, who met a delegation of the Mediterranean Youth Council yesterday. President Metsola highlights that “the European Union is mainly a project of peace and the European Parliament will always keep supporting freedom, democracy and rights”. This morning, the members of the Mediterranean Youth Council will attend a public event at the European Parliament; then, they will visit the institution and, after that, will get to learn more about the real COMECE, the Commission of the Bishops’ Conferences of the European Union.
