EU: European Youth Week, “All in for Change”. Focus on solidarity and fairness

Countdown to the European Youth Week 2026, the event organised by the European Commission every second year to celebrate and promote youth engagement, participation and active citizenship all over Europe and beyond. The new edition (24 April-1 May) will be held under the motto “All in for Change” and will be dedicated in particular to solidarity and fairness as we celebrate 30 years of volunteering in Europe. An exhibition will showcase the Europeans who have made a difference in society. The week will officially kick off on 24 April at the European Parliament in Brussels, where over a thousand participants are expected. The opening by Roberta Metsola, President of the European Parliament, will be followed by conversations with “high level speakers”. The event will be web streamed. The programme for the Week, which is still being finalised and can be viewed on the portal’s interactive map, features over 465 activities across 28 countries, with an estimated 48,000 people taking part.
