A “summer school” is being prepared for those people who, in Russia, work for or contribute to Catholic newspapers as journalists or bloggers, photographers or video-makers, web designers or PRs. The programme is organised by the Media Service of the Archdiocese of Moscow and by the News Service of the Cathedral of Moscow. “In the relaxed atmosphere of a St Petersburg summer, we will combine work and relax to explore communication among media professionals from different cities and to engage in group projects”, the invitation posted on Russia’s Catholic media channels says. A specific programme will be targeted to people who develop personal blogs or are interested in blogging about Christian life. There will be sessions about the development of information platforms, exchanges of views about languages and formats to tell about faith. Enrolments close in late February or upon reaching the maximum number of 40 students.
