Yesterday afternoon, at 04.15 pm, the Pope Emeritus went to Castelli Romani, first to Castel Gandolfo, where he stopped in the gardens and in the belvedere for a walk and to say the Rosary, then on to the Sanctuary of Madonna del Tufo at Rocca di Papa, and, lastly, along with mgr. Raffaello Martinelli, to the Episcopal Curia in Frascati, where he stayed for dinner. This has been reported by Matteo Bruni, director of the Vatican Newsroom. At 10.30 pm, he went back to the Mater Ecclesiae Monastery. He had been invited by mgr. Martinelli.
