"How to make social services and related ones, such as health care, education, employment and housing accessible, fair and sustainable? How to make a better use of the available public resources, infrastructure and human capital (including service users, volunteers, families and staff)? How could we best encourage the citizens’ participation in shaping their local community and local services?" These are some of the items on the agenda of the European Social Services Conference, to which EU Commissioner Laszlo Andor will send an opening message.
