“Together for Europe” aims to be an “expression of communion, responsibility and passion for the common house of Europe, from the Atlantic to the Urals, for a Europe that does not withdraw into itself, but sees that it has a common destiny with the other continents”, organisers pointed out. The aim of this event is to propose new ideas “brought forth by the charisms and gifts that God” has given to the persons, associations and groups which will be present in Brussels and in all other European cities hosting local events. The issues to be discussed include, for instance: “The protection of life and the environment”; “What economy for the common good?”; and “The promotion of peace and active citizenship”. At the end of the convention, there will be a satellite and internet link-up with the local events in the rest of Europe and the proclamation of a “manifesto” directed to the institutions and citizens of Europe.
