The World Youth Day 2011 will be celebrated in Madrid - as announced by Benedict XVI after the final Mass in Sydney - from 15th to 21st August. It was made known by the Youth Pastoral Office of the Spanish Bishops’ Conference a short time ago. “Probably - it is written in the note by the Office, - the Pope will be starting his apostolic journey to Spain one week earlier, on 8th August”.
